Ruby Lynne Bentley
Hi there! My name is Amy and I run the front desk here at the salon. As some of you may know, I just had a baby on May 22nd, 2008. Matthew, my husband, and I named her Ruby Lynne Bentley. She’s now 3 ½ months old and healthy as ever. We could not have been more blessed to welcome such a ray of sunshine into our little family, nor could we have done it without the help of this salon. Shannon and Bayard Black, the owners, opened up their arms to us on more than one occasion. I was thrown an extravagant baby shower at Olive’s back in April, and was given plenty of time off for maternity leave.

I returned with ease back in mid-July, which would not have been possible without the assistance of Margo and Sherry. They’re two of the receptionists that I currently work with here at the desk and I’m delighted to call them my friends. I thank my lucky stars to have them on our team, as they relieved me of work when little Ruby came along. The entire staff here has truly gone out of their way to embrace her into our family. They’ve generously worked around my schedule to accommodate my needs. Truthfully, as many of you already know, it’s hard being a working mother. Somehow, I’ve managed to make the transition into it with leniency through the love of this exceptional crew of people and I honestly can’t thank them enough.
